Band: Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans
Label: Stony Plain Records
Written and Performed By: Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans

I believe this is actually the first song I ever heard from Corb, it
got me hooked right away! He's been known to play this song with a
capo, but the studio version actually doesn't have one.The song is
mostly just a switch between C and G with many dynamic changes, but
it's a pretty easy and fun song. I tried tabbing out the solo, I'm not
sure how close it is to being correct, but I'm up for corrections!
Please rate, comment, and enjoy!!

C

C
I'm gonna shine up my boots
G
I'm gonna go into town

I'm gonna scr*pe up twenty dollars
C
I'm gonna throw it around

I'm gonna buy me a dance
G
First lovely lady that I see

And when our dance is through
C
I'll say "Will you marry me?"

C
I'm gonna shine up my boots
G
I'm gonna go into town

I'm gonna scr*pe up twenty dollars
C
I'm gonna throw it around

I'm gonna find me a game
G
Of hold 'em if I can

And fold 'em all night long
C
Till I got me a hand

C
I'm gonna buy us a ranch
G
With a palomino herd

And I won't mean no harm, babe
C
And I won't say a word

When Misery comes to call
G
I'll give to him my life

I'll set with him awhile
C
And share my horse, my home, my wife
