I've never seen it played so I'm not positive that this is exactly the way they play it, to me it sounds pretty dang close. Check it out and see for yourself. Here's the trick, the tuning is weird: --D(4)-- --D(4)-- --D(3)-- --C(3)-- --G(2)-- --D(2)-- Basically, the highest two strings match pitch, then the next one is an octave down. That is what creates the constant ring of those notes throughout most of the song. Listen to it carefully and you'll see what I mean. This is the main guitar part... I'm pretty sure there's (at least) a second guitar in there doing some filler stuff on higher strings. maybe I'll get to that later.
